Counseling provides a supportive and confidential space where you can explore personal challenges, emotions, and thoughts. It helps you gain insight into your struggles, develop coping strategies, and create positive changes in your life. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or major life transitions, counseling can provide you with the tools to heal and grow.
At Passionate Path Counseling, we offer a range of therapeutic approaches based on your unique needs. Some of the therapies we offer include:
Individual Therapy
Marriage and Couples Counseling
Family Counseling
Personal Development
Grief & Loss Counseling
Each therapy modality is designed to support you in navigating your challenges and achieving your goals.
If you’re experiencing emotional distress, facing major life changes, struggling with relationships, or simply looking to understand yourself better, counseling can be a helpful resource. It’s normal to feel unsure about starting therapy, but taking the first step is often the hardest. Our team is here to support you at every stage, whether you’re just exploring your options or ready to begin therapy.
The length of therapy varies based on your individual needs and goals. Some clients may only need a few sessions to address specific issues, while others may benefit from ongoing support. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your goals and collaborate on the most effective treatment plan for you. We always aim to empower you with the tools you need to move forward in a meaningful way.
During your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding your concerns. We’ll talk about your goals, what brought you to therapy, and how we can work together to meet your needs. The session is an opportunity for you to ask questions, explore your options, and determine if we’re the right fit for you. We want you to feel comfortable, safe, and heard.
Yes, confidentiality is a key part of the counseling process. What you share in therapy stays between you and your counselor, except in specific situations where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to yourself or others). We’ll always discuss the limits of confidentiality at the start of your sessions so you can feel secure in your conversations.
We currently accept Aetna insurance plans, and we’re happy to verify your benefits before your first appointment. If we do not accept your insurance, we can discuss affordable payment options and work with you to find a plan that suits your needs.
Booking an appointment is simple! You can either call us at 346-521-5748, send an email to info@passionatepathcounseling.com, or fill out the online contact form at Alicia Moore | SimplePractice. We’ll reach out to schedule a convenient time for you and answer any questions you may have about the process.
We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time to another client and reschedule your session at a time that works best for you. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
All of our therapy sessions are conducted virtually, offering the convenience and flexibility of meeting from the comfort of your home. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure your privacy and confidentiality throughout each session.
Choosing the right therapy service depends on your unique needs and goals. If you're unsure which service would be most beneficial, our team is happy to help guide you. You can reach out for a consultation, and we’ll discuss your situation, explain the options available, and help you select the most appropriate service.
If you are in crisis or need immediate assistance, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For ongoing support, we can help connect you with the appropriate resources or refer you to a specialized crisis service if needed.
