Each year, May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month. It is a time to raise awareness, start conversations, and remind ourselves that taking care of our mental and emotional health is just as important as caring for our physical health.
At Passionate Path Counseling, I believe in the power of support, understanding, and informed care. Life brings a wide range of challenges — anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, life transitions, and more. Mental Health Awareness Month gives us space to reflect on those experiences and to take proactive steps toward healing.
Why Mental Health Awareness Matters
Even though the conversation around mental health is growing, many people still suffer in silence. Stigma, fear, and lack of access can prevent individuals from getting the support they need. This month is about breaking those barriers. It is about reminding people that it is okay to ask for help, that therapy is a valuable tool, and that no one has to go through hard times alone.
How You Can Take Action This Month
Take time to check in with yourself
